Hello, I'm Zoie. Welcome to my little corner of Cornwall.

I live and paint just outside Newquay, where the sea is never very far away.

I've always felt drawn to the sea. There's something about being beside it that helps me slow down, clear my head and feel a little more connected.

My original paintings and fine art prints are inspired by the wild Cornish coastline, its colours, movement and those little moments that stay with us long after we've gone home.

I hope my artwork brings a little of that feeling into your home, too.

Why I'm Drawn to the Sea 

I've always found something comforting about being near the sea. The sound of the waves, the changing colours and that feeling of being able to slow down for a little while.

It's a feeling I try to capture in my paintings, using soft coastal colours, movement and texture to create artwork that brings a little calm into everyday life.

For me, being drawn to the sea has always been about more than the view. It's about how it makes us feel.

How I Found Healing Through Art And The Ocean

I create abstract coastal art from my tiny studio in Cornwall. For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to the sea. 

My art is driven by my fascination with where land, sea and sky meet and the restorative energy I feel when immersed in these coastal spaces.

As a fully confirmed thalassophile, my work seeks to express my joy for the ocean and to share in the rejoicing of nature's power to heal and restore.
